I gave the new version of Puerto Rico Online a try last night.  Overall I was very impressed.  The interface isn't great, but is still much better than the one at BSW.  What I like the most about it is how quickly I was able to get online and jump into a game.  This is because this version supports computer AI players.  Oddly enough, and I could be wrong here but I'm pretty sure I saw this happen, human players can join in after a game has started and replace a computer player.  The AI appears to be fairly weak, but I suspect it will improve over time.

Could any interface be worse than BSW?

That would have to be no, Bob :-). The same thought was going through my head as I played last night - the interface for the new one isn't actually that great. I supposed the proper way to position it is that it sucks less.

Thanks for the info. Have been playing this all day! Still haven't beat the AI yet in 3-4 players, guess I'm not one of the PR pro's yet. But this prog. is a great exercise!..

And thanks from me for the link. Not a nice looking or well laid out program but it does the job and it is not in German which helps. The AI makes some odd decisions. I watched a computer opponent ship Indigo when he had a coffee available leaving me the slot for my coffee!
