Hey Chris. I'm debating the gencon thing at the moment. My family is heading off to Cali to spend some time with grandparent/friends/etc which leaves me free around gencon time. I'm curious if you thought it was worthwhile to do solo...imagine you weren't bringing your boys...would you still be gung-ho about the trip?

Also, I can't find a hotel downtown with any vacancies, so I'd have to stay a ways away and either rent a car or taxi. Is that a mistake? Doable? Major pain in butt?
