Been playing some games again, even some that are new-to-me.

Playing Scythe with Jim and Logan

Scythe is a highly rated game that I had wanted to play for a while. Bought it in a big order earlier this spring, along with a few Civil war games.

I’ve now played Scythe two- and three-player and while enjoyable I’m not sure I love it yet. Or ever will. I’ve got the digital version on Steam and want to try that a few times to get some rapid solo experience.

One of the appeals of the game is the asymmetry of the factions and mixing of powers. I feel like I haven’t really grasped how to optimize for this and suspect this is part of the draw of the game to many folks.
